Convenience store robbed at knifepoint
Durham police are looking for information from the public after an Oshawa convenience store was robbed at knifepoint.
At approximately 3:20 a.m. on March 11, police responded to the Mac’s Milk convenience store on Rossland Road East for a robbery that had just taken place. According to police, a male suspect entered the store while the lone employee was working at the rear of the building. The suspect took out a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect left the store on foot after receiving his items.
A police K-9 unit searched the area, but was unable to locate the suspect.
The employee was not physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old and is approximately six feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and a dark mask covering his face.
