Changes coming to transit

Public transit users will need to remember a new bus schedule.

Starting Sept. 8, Durham Region Transit increased the frequency of buses, improved GO Train meet services and implemented new routes. All in all, 34 routes have been adjusted.

One big change was the PULSE route, which travels along Highway 2 from downtown Oshawa to Scarborough, with buses now coming every 10 minutes on weekdays.

New routes include a new link between Brooklin and the joint UOIT/Durham College campus.

Commuters are advised to go to durhamregiontransit.com to check the new routes and schedules.

Those requiring further assistance can call the DRT Customer Service Centre at 1-866-247-0055.
