For the third year running, the Durham Catholic District School Board took some time to thank its numerous volunteers.

At a ceremony in Oshawa, a volunteer from each of the board’s institutions was recognized for their work in making the schools a better place. In total, 46 volunteers were recognized.

“As a parent volunteer, I have witnessed first-hand the impact we provide in our schools and for our students,” states Linda Dodson Trchala, chair of the Durham Catholic Parent Involvement Committee, in a news release.

“Our dedicated and caring volunteers provide countless hours of service that contributes to student success, a positive school environment and excellence.”
