Brand new look for Accessibility committee

The city is seeking the community’s help in designing a new logo for the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Logo designs should be submitted before Monday, April 15 to access@oshawa.ca or mailed to the City of Oshawa ATTN: O.A.A.C. Accessibility Logo Contest – 50 Centre Street South, 8th floor, Oshawa, Ont., L1H 3Z7.

Entries must reflect accessibility that is not limited to a specific type of disability, be gender neutral, including Sans Serif upper and lower case font, provide colour contrast and include the words “Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee.”

Electronic submissions must be 300 DPI (dots per inch) at 100 per cent at final print or vector art .EPS or .AI file. Hand drawn images will be subject to digitization, which will change the design.

The winning design will be used on city letterheads, posters and other promotional materials to promote accessibility in Oshawa.

The committee will consider selections on Tuesday, April 16.
The winner will receive a $200 award and the design will displayed on a flag to be raised during National Accessibility Week from May 26 to June 1.
