Passed peacefully at Thorntonview Long Term Care surrounded by his family. Jim in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Colley) for 65 years. Devoted father of John Beaton, Jane Beaton, Jaqueline and her husband William Beaton and Kevin Beaton and his wife Laurie. Loving Pa of Terri Ann Gaynik (Mark), Katie Lynch, Brendon Beaton, Dallas Beaton (Bethany), Cody Beaton and Brittany Broll (Ryan), Tyler Beaton, Leslie Wasik (Ron), Molly Beaton, Riley Beaton, Meagan Turner and Ian Turner. Great Grandpa to Caden Beaton, Emma Beaton, Rachel Gaynik, Beatrice Gaynik, Ruth Gaynik, Pilot Lynch, Charlotte Broll, Lilah Broll, Jaxson Beaton and Elliot Beaton. Brother of Jack Beaton and his wife Doris and the late Helen Oldham. Son of the late William and Hilda Beaton. A private graveside service will take place with interment at Wick Cemetery, Sunderland. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Thorntonview for their special care and compassion.
