Assault suspect turns himself in to police
A suspect wanted for an assault turned himself into police after they released his image to the public.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, police were called to Yola’s Restaurant on Bond Street in Oshawa for an assault. According to police, a suspect was seen assaulting an unknown female, forced her out of the restaurant and then placed her in a vehicle.
On Friday, May 12, Durham police released an image of the suspect wanted in this case.
On Monday, May 15, the suspect, a 28-year-old Toronto male, turned himself into police.
